Anytime Goalscorer Betting Tip Saturday 19th December – Back These Three Strikers To Score

With just a week to go until Christmas, the frantic festive period is upon and I’m looking to start it in epic style with this treble on the anytime goalscorer market.

Last weekend’s attempt started superbly before falling apart as the afternoon wore on. But my tips still managed some return, and I’ll be playing the three singles and a treble once more. One winner would bring minimal loss while two would bring a steady profit.

And if all three win, it will be a very Merry Christmas!

Chelsea V Sunderland. 3PM

BET: Diego Costa to score anytime @ 21/20

It has been a truly horrendous campaign for Chelsea’s superstars, and Diego Costa is amongst the biggest culprits. But I’m backing the Spaniard to rediscover his scoring touch against Sam Allardyce’s Black Cats.

Costa did score in a similar home game (against Norwich) not too long ago. Meanwhile, the champions did start to show some grit towards the end of Monday’s loss at Leicester. This could be a game where they finally get their season back on track, but only if they get goals. Last year’s top scorer has to be the primary candidate.

Last season’s contest saw Costa find the target as the Blues ended their season with a 3-1 win. A repeat showing wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest here. Even if Chelsea do continue to struggle, I can see Costa having an impact.

The whole not playing a striker tactic hasn’t worked and Jose Mourinho will surely call upon his best goal threat against the Black Cats. There’s no reason to think the striker won’t score.

Bolton Wanderers V Fulham. 3PM

BET: Ross McCormack to score anytime @ 13/8

The Championship’s joint top scorer must be licking his lips as he prepares to make the trip to rock-bottom Bolton this weekend. In truth, odds of 13/8 for Ross McCormack to score at any time has to be considered quality value.

Fulham’s leading marksman has 11 league goals to his name already. In spite of the circus around Craven Cottage right now, the Scottish striker remains in a positive place. If the visitors are to claim a positive result at the Macron, it seems inevitable that he will be the man to provide those goals.

Bolton did clinch a credible draw at Charlton on Tuesday night, but it’s worth noting that Neil Lennon’s men did still concede twice. Problems off the field are even worse than Fulham’s too, so McCormack and co should be ready to pounce.

Simply put: my bet of the weekend.

Leyton Orient V Yeovil Town. 3PM

BET: Jay Simpson to score anytime @ Evens

Ian Hendon’s O’s have endured a terrible last few weeks, but a home game against the Football League’s second worst side should be the perfect chance to get back to winning ways. And the division’s top scorer is my shout to help them achieve that goal.

Jay Simpson already has 16 goals to his name, opening the scoring on 10 occasions too. He should be extremely confident against such poor opposition, and I’ve no reason to doubt him.

Leyton orient do need a big performance from their talisman. Assuming they can provide the 27-year-old with some service, he should have no problems finding the target once more. As a double your money shot, it’s well worth a punt.

And if the other two strikers score too, it will be very happy days indeed.

In addition to the three singles, I’ll also be playing the treble. For a £10 stake, the returns will be £107.80. Now that would be a great start to the festive period.
