Anytime Goalscorer Tips Saturday 26th December – A Trio Of Prem Aces To Score

Hi boys and girls, Martin here. Before I get started, I’d like to start by saying that I hope you are having a wonderful festive period.

A full Boxing Day schedule gives us some fantastic options, and I’m turning my attentions to the day’s Premier League action for my golascoring options. I’m backing three big name players to celebrate with a goal. If they do, it could be one our greatest Christmas presents of all.

I’m backing the three singles along with the treble. Will you be joining me?

Chelsea V Watford. 3PM

BET: Eden Hazard to score anytime @ 11/8 with SkyBet

Chelsea’s post-Mourinho era started in fantastic style with a comfortable win over Sunderland last weekend. Now all they need to do is get last year’s PFA Player of the Year to start firing on all cylinders.

Watford are having a fantastic season, but this trip to Stamford Bridge couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Blues will enjoy a new lease of life under Guus Hiddink and the Dutchman’s first job will be to get his Belgian superstar playing with a smile on his face once more.

Hazard has yet to find the target this term, but that’s got to end sooner rather than later for a man that’s scored 14 in each of the previous two campaigns. A home game against one of the newly promoted clubs is the perfect opportunity for this to happen, and I’m backing the out-of-form playmaker to do just that.

Ideally, I’d like slightly bigger odds. But this goal has been coming for a few weeks, I think he’s more than likely to do it here.

Manchester City V Sunderland. 3PM

BET: David Silva to score anytime @ 15/8 with SkyBet

Monday tonight’s disappointing defeat at Arsenal means that Manchester City will be bitterly determined to bounce back with a big victory on Saturday, and a home game against Sunderland could be the perfect opportunity.

The Citizens have scored 13 goals in their last four competitive home games alone, and their attacking players will be eager to pile the bad luck on Sam Allardyce’s Black Cats. With Sergio Aguero still finding his feet after injury, it will be up to the attacking midfielders to shine. I’m backing David Silva to score his second league goal of the campaign.

Silva was a little off colour at the Emirates, but if he plays to his potential then he could be pulling the strings here. He might not be the most lethal finisher, but he does know where the target is. I think his trickery will be too much for Sunderland’s ageing backline.

It wouldn’t surprise me if City get a glut of goals. If they do, Silva’s name could well be on the scoresheet.

Tottenham Hotspur V Norwich City. 3PM

BET: Harry Kane to score anytime @ 8/11 with SkyBet

After a disappointing start to the campaign, Harry Kane is now once again showing the quality that made him such a star in 2014/15. The England man’s goal at Southampton took his personal league tally to 10, and I’m backing him to reach double figures in style with another striker against Norwich.

The Canaries picked up a great result at Old Trafford, but kicking Man United while they’re down doesn’t seem overly difficult right now. The trip to White Hart Lane will be tougher. Spurs will be confident about claiming the win, and Kane has to be the most likely scorer.

I can’t see any situation where the Tottenham talisman will struggle against Norwich’s leaky backline. The Canaries have conceded 19 on the road already. If that sort of form continues in north London, it seems almost inevitable that Kane will find the target.

If Silva and Hazard do it too, we’ll be laughing.

As well as the three singles, I’ll be placing a £10 treble with SkyBet. The potential returns are £118.60.
