Both Teams To Score Tips Thursday 6th June – Holland and Germany Youngsters Scream Out Goals

goals galoreIt’s time for the midweek edition of both teams to score and with the U21’s tournament getting underway as well as plenty of International teams getting their warm-up friendlies in before the qualifiers resume, there’s room for a little double which I think looks a great bet!

Holland U21’s vs Germany U21’s – 4/6 with Skybet

These are two great footballing nations and both of their youth setups have been amongst the goals recently.  Holland U21’s have failed to score in just one game in the last 4 years and Germany have scored in their last 24 games; a clear demonstration of the attacking prowess that both of these sides possess.  This will be the first meeting between the two clubs but I’m expecting goals.Germany in particular have been leaking a few recently, shipping 4 against Bosnia & Herzegovina, and conceding both home and away to Switzerland.  However, both of these sides are certainly capable of finding the net and of all the first round ties in the U21’s Championship in Israel, this stands out to me as a fixture that’s purpose built for plenty of goals.

Philladelphia Union vs Columbus Crew – 4/5 with Skybet

6th face 7th in the MLS and the odds for both teams finding the net here looks too good to be true.  The past 3 consecutive meetings between these two have resulted in both teams finding the net, including their meeting earlier in the season in April which finished all square at 1-1.

Philladelphia have scored in all 7 of their home games this season and have kept only 2 clean sheets in the process.  Columbus on the other hand have scored in all but 1 of their away games this season and have kept 2 clean sheets on the road.

A win for Columbus will see them leapfrog Philladelphia and a win for Philly will see them move 5 points clear of Columbus and up into a Final Series spot.  The game needs to be won by both sides to keep the pressure on those above them and based on the history between the two and their recent form, I see no other outcome than both teams scoring.
