BTTS Tips Sunday 29th November – Get On Our Treble The Odds Trio

3 things that are important on a Sunday; a Sunday roast, football and bets. I’m not a chef, but luckily for you I can cover the other two things with this Sunday’s Both Teams to Score treble!

Borussia Dortmund vs Stuttgart

I’m starting in Germany as Dortmund return from their trip to Russia in the week to face Stuttgart in The Bundesliga this Sunday afternoon.

Nobody can deny the fact that Dortmund have been a class act in front of goal this season with 36 goals in 13 league games, a record bettered only by Bayern. But part of the reason they sit 8 points behind the league leaders is their inability to defend.

This treble pays just under £150 at 888sport!

For Bayern have kept a clean sheet in 8 of their 13 games so far this season, whereas Dortmund have managed just half that amount and only 2 sides in the top half have conceded more than them. It’s this record which makes Dortmund such an attractive Both Teams to Score pick, even more so a Both Teams to Score and Win pick as it lands on a regular basis.

Stuttgart are the visitors to Signal-Iduna Park this weekend and though they come into this after successive 4-0 losses to Bayern and Augsburg, I would fully expect them to find the net.

They’ve scored in every one of their away games this season bar that 4-0 defeat to Bayern and even better, they’ve scored 2 or more in 6 of their 8 away games in all competitions. They also come into this having found the net in 9 of their last 10 meetings with Dortmund and given the home side may also be reeling from their 1-0 defeat in Russia only a few days ago, I just have to back Both Teams to Score in this one.

PEC Zwolle vs Ajax

Over to Holland next as PEC Zwolle host Ajax at the IJssedelta Stadion. On paper Ajax may be the better side here and you would expect them to do the business, but again, this is another side who have been travelling for the Europa League, albeit not as far as Ajax picked up a 1-2 win against Celtic on Thursday night.

Still, I expect weary legs and squad rotations to play a part and though Ajax are regular scorers on the road, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 5 visits to Zwolle. They have however scored in every away game this season and I would fully expect them to do so again today.

The hosts have had a bit of a tough run in November but a 0-5 away win against Roda last weekend should restore confidence in the squad. And though they have had some dodgy results, one constant has remained and that is their ability to score in front of their home fans.

Zwolle have not only scored in every single home game this season, they have only failed to score here in front of their own fans once in 2015, and if you want to go back further, twice in the last 2 years! They score here for fun, and though they face the league leaders this Sunday, I would expect that to continue.

Empoli vs Lazio

I’m taking a bit of a risk for my last selection as I head to Italy for a slice of Serie A. Lazio are yet another side who have been involved in Europa League action this week in a 3-1 home win over Ukrainian side Dnipro, but this weekend they face a difficult trip to Empoli in the league.

Lazio linger 8th in Serie A at the moment and are currently without a win in 4 games so whilst they are assured qualification to the knockout stage of the Europa League, their league form has suffered.

In 6 away league games this season, Lazio have failed to keep a single clean sheet and have collected just 3 points from a possible 18. It’s a record which doesn’t bode well for them and even though they travel to a side who are hardly setting the world alight in Empoli this weekend, the hosts have hardly been poor as of late.

Empoli come into this game with just 1 defeat in their last 5, that coming in a 1-3 home loss to Juventus. They’ve already held Napoli to a 2-2 draw here this season and have failed to score in just 1 of their 6 home league games.

Yes, their results are inconsistent and you would naturally see Lazio as a higher class side on paper, but when you also consider that Empoli have found the net in their last 6 consecutive home meetings with Lazio dating back to 1999, you have to give them a chance here and I certainly think they’ll be able to find the net.
