Goals Betting Tips Saturday 26th October – Get On Foxes Goals

Wow! What a great couple of weeks I’ve had.. That’s now 4 from 4 in the last 2 articles I’ve posted so I’m hoping my form can continue this weekend and give our readers some extra beer money… Christmas is just around the corner don’t you know!

With plenty of good looking fixtures it’s taken quite a bit of time to narrow my selections down to just the best, but after much study I think I’m ready… Here goes….

Leicester City v Bournemouth 3.00pm
BET: Leicester City over 1.5 team goals – 1.67 Ladbrokes

This is one of those bets that looks too good to be true which then makes you think you’re being led up the garden path by the bookies. The odds seem just too good. However, I’ve painstakingly researched this game and I can’t see any reason why this price is available. I’m on.

Leicester have scored 2 goals or more in 5 of their 6 home games this season, only failing to do so on their first home game of the season (a 0-0 draw with Leeds). Since then Birmingham, Wigan, Blackburn, Barnsley and Huddersfield have all lost to the Foxes and conceded at least 2.

Visitors Bournemouth have already suffered a couple of heavy away losses this term in the shape of a 6-1 mauling at Watford and a 5-1 drubbing at Huddersfield and it would be absolutely no surprise to see Leicester score 2 or more in front of home fans. The 1.67 available is a gift.

Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday 3.00pm
BET: Sheffield Wednesday over 1.5 team goals – 2.55 Ladbrokes

This bet is all about the value. Both teams occupy a relegation spot in the Championship at the moment and there are some cracking stats that you need to be aware of:

  • Barnsley have kept 0 clean sheets this season
  • Sheffield Wednesday have scored in every away game this season
  • Barnsley have conceded more than 1 goal in 8 of their 12 games played

This game has goals written all over it and Wednesday are great value to score 2 goal or more. I’m not suggesting for a second that the visitors will win this, Barnsley are more than capable of taking the points and scoring a few themselves, but 2.55 odds is just too big considering the stats.
