Goals Galore Tips Sat 16th Feb – Net To Bust At Portman Road

Visit BetfredThe return of Europe’s elite competition gave us a welcome break from a full fixture programme and proved to be a bit of a BTTS goldmine for those of you who had a go I’m sure there were many a battered bookie on Thursday morning! However, it’s eyes down and back on the horse (insert topical foodstuffs joke here) for the bread and butter of a bumper Saturday coupon, here’s my favourites:

Ipswich vs Blackpool
Blackpool are always a team I look out for when bulding a BTTS multi, and today is no exception. Enigmatic ex-Blackpool messiah Ian Holloway may have long since moved on to pastures new but the spirit he instilled in the Blackpool side shows no sign of leaving them any time soon.

True to form, Blackpool, the kings of ‘attack at all costs’ are on a 7 match BTTS streak and face an Ipswich side just 5 points behind them in the league. The Tractor Boys will hope home advantage proves decisive in a match that could go either way and should include no shortage of goals!

MK Dons vs Barnsley
This match up doesn’t look too dissimilar on paper as the first selection, with both teams going into the match fairly confident that they can get a result. The Dons will see this FA Cup tie as the perfect tonic to forget their blundering league form against a relegation threatened Barnsley side.

The Yorkshire side’s last 2 away days have yielded 8 goals and they scored and conceded on both occasions, expect a good old fashioned end-to-end cup tie, with goals aplenty of course.

Oldham vs Everton
Former Premier League outfit Oldham Athletic haven’t been setting the world alight at the wrong end of League One this term. However, send a Merseyside team to Boundary Park and the Latics seem to thrive.

They dispatched of Liverpool in the last round by the odd goal in a 5 goal thriller, albeit a scoreline that perhaps even flattered the 5-time European Champions. It’s the turn of David Moyes and the blue half of Merseyside this time round, and well known BTTS specialists themselves, I strongly fancy at least a goal from either side here, especially with Everton changes expected with hopes of European football still alive and kicking.

The above treble pays 9/2 on Betfred’s goals galore bonus coupon!
