After an F.A Cup weekend that threw up plenty of drama and giant-killings, there were not enough teams on the scoresheet to see our 100% record of both teams to score continue, however with a bumper midweek fixture list there’s an almost instant chance of a reprieve, here’s my pick of the bunch for Wednesday 30th January:

Ross County vs Hibernian:
The SPL didn’t cover itself in glory on Sunday as both fixtures ended goal-less but with these 2 sides excelling this season we could well see a goal-fest here. Newly-promoted County have had a solid start to life in the SPL and ran out 3-2 winners the last time they entertained Hibernian at home earlier in the season. Hibs will be looking to get something from this game though as they sit just 3 points off the lucrative Champions League spot. Recent games between these two have finished 3-2, 2-2 and 2-1, expect more of the same here.
Everton vs West Brom:
Out-of-BTTS-form Everton went 18 straight games both scoring and conceding before a couple of 0-0’s scuppered their impressive record. They returned to form at the weekend with a 2-1 win over Bolton in the F.A Cup and there should be goals with the Baggies in town. West Brom have hit BTTS in 4 of their last 5 games and also beat Everton 2-0 earlier in the season in what was a top of the table clash between the 2 high-flying sides who both enjoyed fantastic starts to their respective Premier League campaigns.
Reading vs Chelsea
Not for the first time this season I think there could be goals at the Madejski. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing result at Brentford but have kept just 3 clean sheets in their last 16 away games this season. Reading meanwhile almost always find the net at home, they’ve failed to score just twice here this term and have hit 7 in their last couple.
