JC’s BTTS Tips Saturday 28th March – Rely on Gills Game For Goals

Friday night huge price double – England and Spain both to win is 6/1 at Coral

Of course, we’re currently enduring an international break so we’re back to English lower leagues for my BTTS selections this weekend. Instead of looking at seasonal stats, however, I’m now just dealing with the last six games of each team. This can mean last six overall and/or last six home/away as applicable. Find my selections beneath and good luck.

Crawley v Gillingham

Now out of the relegation zone after three straight wins, Dean Saunders’ Crawley side have scored and conceded in four of their last six home games, four of their last six away and four of their last six overall, making a 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate in each category.

Gillingham, on the other hand, have the same 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate from their last six home games, but only three out of their last six League One road games have seen both teams score. However, if we go further back it’s 8/11 BTTS Yes games in Gillingham’s road games and I think they can get back to scoring and conceding after last week’s 2-2 draw with Colchester.

Bradford v Oldham

Phil Parkinson’s cup-loving Bantams have a really strong home BTTS Yes record in recent home games, with five of their last six contests at Valley Parade seeing both teams score to make an 83.3% strike rate.

The boys from Boundary Park, meanwhile, have only seen both teams score in one of their last six League One away games, but the Latics themselves have scored in four of those six contests. All in all, with Bradford known to be leaky at the back but good up front, I think that both the home and away side will each score in Bradford this weekend.

Exeter v Morecambe

Paul Tisdale’s Exeter have been consistently involved in BTTS Yes games recently, with four of their last six overall League Two contests seeing both teams score and 4/6 at home. So, that’s a 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate across the board.

Currently managed by Jim Bentley, Morecambe also have a 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate from their last six League Two games, which matches their hosts on Saturday, but most notably both teams have scored in five of the Shrimps’ last six away games for an 83.3% strike rate.
