Stuttgart v Eintracht Frankfurt – 14:30

A team that lacked offensive imagination and flirted with relegation 2014/15, Stuttgart looked improved going forward in pre-season, even defeating Manchester City 4-2, but Alexander Zorniger’s men have lost 2/2 in 2015/16 Bundesliga action and lie second from bottom in the standings.

It could have been very different, though, as Stuttgart dominated Koln and spurned chance after chance in game one, but eventually their fast paced, high pressing game and constant pushes for a goal left the counter open to Koln and they took a 2-0 lead before winning 3-1.

In their second game, Stuttgart were leading Hamburg 2-1 at the interval before a red card left them a man down, which lead to Hamburg scoring twice in the last ten minutes to win 3-2.

Poor Stuttgart indeed, but before their unfortunate coach gets his marching orders in a few games, we should note that Eintracht Frankfurt like to play on the counter-attack and match their 100% BTTS Yes strike rate in 2015/16 – earned from a 2-1 loss at Wolfsburg and 1-1 home draw with Augsburg – with Stuttgart’s seasonal tally of the same mark and bet on both teams scoring again. After all, both teams have scored in the last six head-to-head matches between these two.

Darmstadt v Hoffenheim – 14:30

Straight back into the Bundesliga for our second BTTS Yes pick and like the last game, both teams have scored in each side’s two league games of 2015/16 for a 100% matchup.

Promoted Darmstadt started their top-flight campaign off with a 2-2 home draw against Hannover and produced a shock by holding Schalke to a 1-1 draw in Gelsenkirchen last Saturday.

Hoffenheim, on the other hand, lost 2-1 away to Bayer Leverkusen in their opening Bundesliga fixture of the season and lost 2-1 at home to Bayern Munich after leading the Champions for a while last weekend.

So, put simply, with the new Bundesliga boys not afraid to attack, we expect each team to bag a goal on Saturday to keep up their perfect BTTS Yes records.

Konyaspor v Galatasaray – 19:15

As we saw last weekend, it’s too early to trust BTTS Yes bets in Spain and neither of the Saturday Serie A fixtures are particularly tempting for this column’s purposes, so we instead turn to Turkey and a game between Konyaspor and reigning champions Galatasaray.

As the writer, I can’t claim to know much about the home side, but I did take note that the Turkish Super League had a lot of BTTS Yes games at the end of last season and we benefitted, so let’s go again.

Now, each of Konyaspor’s first two league games of 2015/16 ended in 1-1 draws, while Galatasaray drew 2-2 away to Sivasspor in game one and shockingly lost 2-1 at home to Osmanlispor in game two.

All in all, out final destination offers a third 100% combined BTTS Yes record from two games played each in league competition this season and we expect those stats to become 3/3 all round.
