Watford v Aston Villa
Watford were left bitterly disappointed by last weekend’s FA Cup semi-final defeat and, in truth, it’s a pretty fair reflection of how poor their form has been in recent weeks. However, those troubles are nothing compared to Villa’s.
Remi Garde’s side haven’t even put up a fight, but they can at least hope to score against a Watford side that has suddenly looked very shaky after a very positive first half of the campaign. Besides, they might as well go for it in their final three games as a Premier League side.
Even if they do score, though, it’s hard to see them sealing the points. The Hornets aren’t exactly in great scoring form and will also miss Etienne Capue. But it’s hard to see any team firing a blank against the shower currently stealing a living at Villa Park.
As far as we’re concerned, it’s evens on Villa to grab a goal. Given Watford’s current record, it’s a risk we’re willing to take.

Shrewsbury Town v Peterborough United
In League One, Peterborough are one of the most reliable sides for a BTTS winner. They’ve scored a total of 73 goals in their 44 matches, shipping 69 in the process. Despite their recent run of four defeats in five, we have every reason to fancy Grant McCann’s men for goals at the New Meadow.
Marcus Maddison and co are more than capable of punishing a home defence that’s leaked 35 on home soil. However, the Shrews will be equally confident given the fact they’ve notched 26 home goals and face a team that’s failed to keep a shutout in seven away games.
These sides also shared a 1-1 draw in the reverse clash at London Road, which would be the perfect result for this bet. Whatever happens, Micky Mellon’s hosts will be celebrating after seeing their survival recently confirmed. Let’s hope that can lead to a positive atmosphere of goals too.

Exeter City v Morecambe
Despite ending the season in terrible form, Jim Bentley’s Morecambe are still scoring goals, and that should see them involved in another BTTS winner on Saturday as they head to St James’ Park to face Exeter.

The Shrimps are more than capable of finding the net against an Exeter that have shipped 32 at home. However, Morecambe’s poor defence coupled with the Grecian’s return of 31 home goals should result in a positive result for Paul Tisdale and his wacky dress sense,
