We seem to be getting closer and closer to this huge treble coming in. BTTS and win is an exciting market to get on, with huge returns and I can’t imagine it will be too long until we are celebrating a victory.
The huge odds available mean that you literally only need 1 win a season to make a profit! Here are my BTTS and win tips for Saturday’s FA Cup action.
Everton v QPR – 3.00pm Saturday
Everton to win & BTTS is 5/2 with Coral
Everton can have no complaints on how their season is currently progressing under new manager Roberto Martinez. A Champions League place is up for grabs for the Toffees and they’re likely to make changes to a side that has had a busy schedule which in turn has had its affects on the squad after four games in just ten days.
Importantly the players coming in will have a point to prove and are of enough quality to make Round Four. Roberto Martinez won the competition with Wigan back in May and will be taking this competition very seriously despite a different sort of line up than we have been used to.
Expect Tony Hibbert, Joel Robles and Bryan Oviedo to be involved and Nikica Jelavic to come in and lead the line and his performance here will likely shape his future with the transfer window currently open. I am expecting the Croat to score!
QPR certainly have one goal only this season which is promotion back to the top flight, however Chairman Tony Fernandes has spoken about a winning mentality and going on a Cup run, so i am expecting a fairly strong side being named for Saturday.
Harry Redknapp will have a point to prove as well and would love getting a result over a Premier League side. The main man at Loftus Road is Charlie Austin who is top scorer at the club with 11 after a move in the summer from promotion rivals Burnley and any goals scored at Goodison are likely to come from the forward.
Middlesbrough v Hull – 3.00pm Saturday
Hull to win and BTTS is 11/2 with Coral
Middlesbrough are certainly an improved outfit under Aitor Karanka and results have improved since he came aboard at The Riverside.
Before his appointment under Tony Mowbray, ‘Boro were more worried about the bottom three in the table rather than the top half but Middlesbrough have staged a revival and are unbeaten in four league games and are now just six points off the Play Offs, also adding to the fact they have found the net in all but one of their home games this season they will fancy their chances at the weekend.
I can indeed see them scoring once on Saturday but a victory may well be too much to ask against a strong performing Hull City.
Hull have over performed so far this season to say the least and are currently in 10th place in the Premier League. You would expect many changes to Steve Bruce’s side whose aim this campaign is to stay up after a return to the top division, however the Tigers do not have the strength in depth to see too much of a difference to the line up.
We should see an outfit strong enough to dispose of a mid table Championship team. More opportunities for the likes of George Boyd and Danny Graham can only spell goals.
Southampton v Burnley – 3.00pm Saturday
Southampton to win and BTTS is 27/10 with Coral
Southampton come in to this cup game after back to back defeats for the first time under manager Mauricio Pochettino, and I can see the manager looking to bounce back with a win.
There are likely to be a few changes for the home side but expect a strong team including Rodriguez, Lambert, Lallana and the in form Gaston Ramirez. Jay Rodriguez faces his former club and will want to perform; I can see the striker getting on the score sheet. The last time these two sides met in the FA Cup was 106 years ago when the Saints delivered a 2-1 win in Round 1. I am predicting the same score line.
What a job Sean Dyche is doing in the Championship, high flying in the league in second place on one of the smaller budgets in the division. Burnley also have one of the hottest properties in the league with striker Danny Ings now up to 18 goals in all competitions, and you wouldn’t bet against him finding the net again this weekend.
Just last Wednesday he fired two past Huddersfield and is on red hot form. The challenge of taking on Southampton will give the Clarets plenty to play for, even though i can see them coming up short, they will give it a good go and i can see Danny Ings getting his 19th goal of the season.
A £10 stake on the treble will return a gigantic £841.80 at Coral
