BTTS and Win Tips Saturday 6th September – A Colossal 128/1 Treble

There might not be any Premier League or Championship matches to look forward to this weekend but we’ve found the perfect medicine to get over that disappointment – this huge 128/1 Results Rush treble.

This weekend’s three selections comes from action in League 1, League 2 and the Conference. There are often plenty of goals in these divisions and hopefully that will spur us on to victory here. It’s crazy not to have a few pennies on at Coral with these massive prices.

Good luck!

Oldham Athletic V Fleetwood Town

After an incredible start 2014/15, high-flying Fleetwood have hit a run of three matches without victory. However, Graham Alexander’s League One new boys have a great chance of getting their early title bid back on track against Oldham.

The Latics enter this match on the back of two consecutive wins, including Tuesday’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy triumph over Bradford, but that should not detract from their low league position. Lee Johnson’s side are 17th in the current standings and will need to be at their very best if they want to take anything from Saturday’s showdown.

On a positive note, they have already hit six league goals and striker Jonathan Forte has started the season exceptionally well. The Barbados-born attacker has already netted four times during his opening weeks at Boundary Park and is already a huge hit with the Athletic support.

However, Fleetwood are flying high for a reason and remain unbeaten in the league, which is clearly their priority. Their impressive defence could be a threat to this selection but, with home advantage, there is no reason for Oldham to think they can’t score.

In our opinion, that still won’t be enough to secure a share of the spoils.

Accrington Stanley V Tranmere Rovers

League Two newcomers Tranmere haven’t adapted to life in a lower division all too well since being relegated from League One last term but Rob Edwards’ men will certainly fancy their chances ahead of their trip to Store First Stadium.

Tranmere’s last match ended in a 2-1 victory over high-flying Morecmabe and that will have handed Rovers a huge boost in confidence. Despite picking up just seven points so far, they have found the net in all but one of their League Two encounters. There is a strong chance they’ll hit a couple against an out-of-form Stanley.

James Beattie’s men are rooted to the foot of the Football League with just one point all season and look bereft of ideas right now. On a brighter note, they have scored in five of their seven matches so far so the home fans can at least be optimistic of having something to cheer at some stage.

Nevertheless, a defensive record of 16 conceded makes particularly poor reading for the Stanley fans. We’re backing Tranmere to clinch back-to-back away wins, but we do think they home side will score.

Halifax Town V Aldershot Town

As expected, Halifax Town have emerged as one of the early frontrunners in this year’s Conference but they did suffer a first defeat of the season against Bristol Rovers last week. However, the Shaymen should bounce back with a home win over Aldershot.

The Shots have actually performed quite well this season and it is great to see them out of administration. Nonetheless, the trip to the Shay is never an easy task and it is likely that their four-game unbeaten run will come to an end on Saturday.

Halifax won last year’s corresponding fixture with an emphatic 4-0 scoreline and it should be another comfortable afternoon for a Neil Aspin side that has netted three times in each of its previous home matches this term.

The fact they’ve conceded three times over the course of those matches will afford some form of confidence to the visitors, who themselves have scored in all but one of their six outings so far. This has the potential to be the game of the day as far as non-league fans are concerned and it should be a cracking spectacle.

It would take a brave man to bet against the Shaymen, though, and they should come claim the points regardless of whether they concede.
