BTTS & Win Tips Saturday 17th October – Back Our 150/1 Bookie Busting Treble

Following a fantastic international break, a full domestic fixture list returns and we’re hoping to celebrate in style with by turning £10 into £1500* with this BTTS & Win treble at 888sport.

We’re backing these three home sides to all secure the points, but we also hope the away sides will score a consolation goal. At odds of 50/1 (without taking the treble the odds offer), it has to be worth a small weekend punt.

Good luck!

Southampton V Leicester City

The return of Premier League football serves up a selection of mouth-watering fixtures and arguably none are as exciting as the clash between Southampton and Leicester. The visitors have already been involved in some thrilling contests this term, and we’re predicting another for Claudio Ranieri’s men here.

Leicester have scored 17 goals in just eight matches this season, although they have conceded 15 in the process. With the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez in attack, the Foxes should be confident about finding the target. However, it is worth noting that they have only won one of their last three fixtures, and that came against newly promoted Norwich.

Conversely, Ronald Koeman’s men are on the rise following back-to-back wins over Swansea and Chelsea. The Saints have conceded in both of those matches, as well as the 3-2 loss to Manchester United before it, but they should be fancied to clinch another three points at St Mary’s.

Saints won last year’s corresponding fixture via a comfortable 2-0 scoreline. We’re not sure that they’ll keep a clean sheet on Saturday, but we do expect them to win.

Middlesbrough V Fulham

Aitor Karanka’s Boro might have suffered a 2-0 loss to Reading prior to the international break, but last year’s Championship finalists have been fantastic in the opening 10 games of the campaign and will be eager to bounce back to winning ways as they welcome Fulham to the Riverside.

The hosts have picked up 20 points from a possible 30 so far, scoring an impressive 11 goals in just five home matches. With Kike, David Nugent, Diego Fabbrini and Christian Stuani each scoring three goals this season, Boro boast multiple sources of goals.

What they don’t have, however, is the goals of Ross McCormack. The Fulham man has five goals this term, including three in his last three appearances. He could be the key to getting the Cottagers on the scoresheet at Middlesbrough, but we don’t think it will impact the result.

Boro will be fully expected to win. Assuming that happens, 11/5 for an away goal looks very appealing indeed.

Kidderminster Harriers V Southport

It has been a truly awful start to 2015/16 for David Hockaday’s Harriers, who are yet to taste victory in the Conference. However, a home game against an equally poor Southport has to be their best chance of finally ending those woes.

The hosts have at least found the target 18 times in their 17 matches this season and must take a confident approach against an away side that has leaked 26. Despite failing to win a single game this term, the home side would leapfrog their opponents with a win and that incentive could make at all the difference at Aggborough.

While this could be the perfect chance for the Harriers to clinch their first win of the season, we don’t think they’ll claim a first shutout. Southport have only scored 13 goals this term, though, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Paul Carden’s men restricted to one goal here.

Both teams need a win, which should lead to an attack-minded contest. On this occasion, we’re backing the hosts to finally end their misery.
