BTTS & Win Tips Saturday 20th December – A Huge 82/1 Football League Treble

How does turning £10 into a massive £830 just in time for Christmas sound? That’s exactly what we’re bidding to do with this BTTS & Win treble.

With the festive season now upon us, clubs up and down the country will be eager to start it in style and that should result in plenty of attack-minded battles across the Football League this weekend. Let’s hope this Saturday treble can give us a massive winner.

Reading V Watford

Championship side Reading will be hoping for much brighter times under new boss Steve Clarke, but they may have to wait a while for the former West Brom manager’s impact to be felt.

The Royals will be extremely disappointed with their current league standing but their form at the Madejski Stadium is a little more pleasing. Reading have netted 17 times in 10 home games and will be fully expected to find the target against Watford.

However, the Hornets boast an impressive 38 Championship goals and are finally getting their act together under their newest boss Slavia Jokanovic. Watford enter this clash on the back of two straight wins and will be extremely confident against a Royals side that shipped six away at Birmingham last week.

A frontline spearheaded by Troy Deeney will be out for three points at Reading, but we think the visitors can at least find the target.

Barnsley V Leyton Orient

Goals have been a common feature for League One rivals Barnsley and Leyton Orient and there is no reason to think they will dry up during Saturday’s clash at Oakwell. However, we have to edge towards a home win in Yorkshire.

The struggling O’s have dropped into the dreaded relegation zone thanks to a run of three defeats in four but their return of 25 goals in 20 games does at least provide one source of confidence. Manager Fabio Liverani will also be aware of Barnsley’s poor defence and the visitors will look to exploit that weakness.

However, the Tykes have scored 30 goals themselves and boast 19 in just 10 home matches. They have also shipped 21 over the course of those 10 games, though, and may need to score at least twice to win this one.

Both teams are in awful form but Barnsley are more than capable of sealing a return to winnings ways – even if they have to do it the hard way.

Shrewsbury Town V Morecambe

Our final selection comes from League Two and may come as quite a surprise as we’re backing Shrewsbury to concede. The Shrews have shipped just three goals at New Meadow this season, but there are plenty of reasons to think Morecambe can score here.

Jim Bentley’s men have both scored and conceded 11 times from their previous 10 on the road. They’ve also claimed wins in two of their past three trips to Shrewsbury and have scored in four of their past five League Two away matches.

Shrewsbury’s inspirational home form has been central to their promotion bid and there is no reason to think Micky Mellon’s men will lose their unbeaten record at the New Meadow. They’ve won nine and drawn one so far and will be fully expected to make it 10 wins from 11, but Morecambe will pose a bigger threat than most and can push the Shrews all the way.

It’s only a matter of time before Shrewsbury concedes another home goal and we think that’ll come in Saturday’s showdown. Nevertheless, we’re backing the home team to win.
