BTTS & Win Tips Wednesday 23rd September – Turn £10 Into £700 With This Huge Midweek Treble

Wednesday’s BTTS & Win treble is a mixed bag of English, German and Spanish football. If our three selections do come in, we’ll be jumping for joy at a return of just under £700!

All three games take place in the evening, and we’re hopeful of landing what would be a huge jackpot. For the sake of a £10 bet, it’s got to be worth a punt.

Good luck!

Schalke 04 V Eintracht Frankfurt. 7PM

Our first selection comes from the German Bundesliga as Andre Breitenreiter’s men look to make it four competitive wins on the bounce as they welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the Veltins Arena.

In addition to their recent form, Schalke have enjoyed a decent home record in 2015. In fact, they’ve only lost one domestic game here since the turn of the year, and will be looking to the firepower of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Franco Di Santo to secure another three points here.

Armin Veh’s visitors were involved in a 0-0 draw at the weekend, but the four games before that had all ended in BTTS winners. Luc Castaignos has hit the ground running since joining from Twente and should fancy his chances of another goal for his new club. However, it is hard to overlook the defensive deficiencies that will continue to plague the away side this term.

Frankfurt did claim a 2-2 draw last term, and we think they will score again. On this occasion, though, we’re backing the hosts to prevail.

Newcastle United V Sheffield Wednesday. 7:45PM

Steve McClaren has endured a difficult start to life at St James’ Park, and will be desperate to build some momentum with a Capital One Cup win against Sheffield Wednesday. However, the Magpies shouldn’t expect to have everything their own way here.

Newcastle have been really poor once again, with evident problems at both ends of the pitch. While the supporters would love to see a decent cup run, there’s a strong chance that Mike Ashley will be telling his staff to concentrate solely on the league. If McClaren rotates an already weak squad, visiting Wednesday could be ready to pounce.

Carlos Carvalhal’s men will be confident after a weekend win against Fulham, and the likes of Fernando Forestieri and Marco Matias are more than capable of compounding Newcastle’s woes. If they start well, it would put a lot of pressure on the hosts.

In all honesty, an away win wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest. At those odds, Wednesday have got to be included.

Athletic Bilbao V Real Madrid. 8PM

The highlight of Wednesday’s Spanish offering comes from the San Mames Barria as Athletic Bilbao face an in-form Real Madrid. All eyes will be Cristiano Ronaldo, who aims to notch his 500th career goal, but there should be plenty of excitement in all areas of this La Liga showdown.

Bilbao have had a pretty average start to 2015/16, but it is worth noting that Ernesto Valverde’s men enter this clash on the back of three straight BTTS winners. Despite Real Madrid’s great defensive record in recent weeks, we think there will be goals at both ends once more.

While we think Rafa Benitez’s men will concede their first goal of the season, it’s hard to rule out a Blancos win. In addition to Ronaldo, the firepower of Karim Benzema, Casemiro and co should be enough to see them through.

Nonetheless, with the injuries they face, Madrid could have a tough test on their hands. Besides, they’ve got to concede sooner rather than later. Away win, but with both teams to score.
