Dover v Woking (FA Trophy)

4/10 Dover to win 2.30

This is a replay after Woking scored a last gasp equaliser over the weekend in a 3-3 draw, where the football wasn’t quite as good as the scoreline. Scott Rendell was the main reason Woking stayed in the tie and it was his goal that has resulted in this replay. Two goals on his return, Rendell has been sorely missed due to injury over the past two months and Woking have seen their results suffer. Rendell is going to struggle with two games in such a short time frame and I cannot expect the 16 goal striker to be as dangerous here.

Dover are a class act as you keep hearing from me. They even surprised me with their display over the weekend and back on home turf I expect them to complete the job against a Woking side that have not won away from home in all competitions since November 16. Look out for a Stefan Payne goal tonight.

Braintree v Ebbsfleet (FA Trophy)
2/10 Ebbsfleet 0ah 2.62

This was postponed at the weekend. Back on tonight and I am going for the same prediction as I made on Friday- Ebbsfleet to find a victory. Their new signings are going to click and cause havoc in the Conference South at some point. Manager Jamie Day who is one of the brightest prospects in non-league, and will get this side going.

It is just a matter of time- but it won’t be long and it could start tonight. Braintree are particularly average and could easily be put to the sword. The price is too big not to take but with plenty of questions still needing to be answered for the Fleet, we will stick to lower stakes.

Gateshead v Wrexham (FA Trophy)
5/10 Gateshead to win 2.10

Bitten at the weekend when Wrexham equalised, I am not put off and am going for the ‘head again on Wednesday evening. In the 1-1 draw played out over the weekend with Wrexham having home advantage, Gateshead dominated long periods of the game with possession football. Wrexham remain struggling for a midfield as their squad is currently stripped thinly.

The weekend saw them experiment with a diamond in the middle of the park. It was enough to hold Gateshead to a replay but I cannot see them keeping Gateshead down for 180 minutes. The North East side have brought in Adam Campbell on loan for Newcastle and the forward is a step above everyone in this division. Already with three goals in two, Campbell will get more.

Eastleigh v Grimsby (Conf Prem)
0.5/10 Jack Midson to score 3.00

Both of these sides bring plenty to the table here and it is a tough game to call. Many believe Eastleigh’s strong home record will prevail but I am not too sure. No injury worries for Eastleigh and they’ll be itching to get playing after their last two games have been postponed.

New loan signing Ollie Palmer has made a big difference, scoring on his debut and then picking up man of the match over the weekend. I think this one could go either way and I can see goals at both ends. Grimsby are unbeaten in ten games away from home and will be desperate not to give that up.

BTTS is too short, so i am going to have a small punt on Jack Midson to find the net. Goals have not been a problem at home for Eastleigh and at this price Midson seems value. The 31 year old has 8 goals this season with 5 of them coming at home. A brace in his last game at home to Lincoln is enough to convince me that we could be in line for another tonight.
