Team Goals Betting Tips Sat 12th Sept – Rangers To Rake In The Profit

That’s the international break done and dusted and now it’s time to focus on what I like to call “real football”.

We’ve got a full fixture list from top to bottom this weekend and I’ve been scouting the fixtures to find a team goals treble worth backing this Saturday.

Not betting at Coral for your team goal bets? You’re missing out! They are continually over generous with their odds. Read the bottom of the article and start winning.

QPR vs Nottingham Forest

I’m starting this weekend’s treble with an early kick off, something I rarely bet on to be honest but I feel this bet has to be included.

QPR return to a home crowd who last witnessed them crashing out of the Capital One Cup to League Two side Carlisle and the fans will be expecting a performance this weekend as Chris Ramsey’s men return from a 2 week break looking to build on their 0-1 away win at Huddersfield last time out.

Rangers have scored in all but 1 of their games in all competitions this season, a 2-0 opening day loss to Charlton being the only exception. Since then they’ve gone on to score 10 goals in their last 4 league games making them the joint top scorers in the league alongside Ipswich.

Here at home they’ve put 2 past Cardiff and 4 past Rotherham in the league and they’ll be looking to use top scorer Charlie Austin who recently signed a new contract with the club to take advantage of a Forest side who’s woes continue on the road.

It’s been 7 months and 8 league games since Dougie Freedman’s side last recorded a win away from home and having kept just 1 clean sheet in those 8 games I don’t see how they can stop a free scoring QPR this weekend.

Forest have failed to keep a clean sheet in 4 of their 5 games this season and conceded 2 against Cardiff at home in their last outing. Their last visit to Loftus Road was during a season where QPR were eventually promoted to the Premier League, and on that day in 2014, QPR hit Forest for 5!

I’m expecting more home goals today.

Grimsby vs Aldershot

If the bookies keep offering this ridiculous bet then I’m going to keep backing it. Regular followers will know how I’ve backed Grimsby to concede on a few occasions this season and today is no different my friends.

Grimsby may have picked up their 3rd win of the season last weekend in a 1-3 win away at newly promoted Boreham Wood, but yet again they were unable to keep a clean sheet, as they have done in all 8 games so far this season. They may have scored more goals than any other side in the National League, but they have also conceded more goals than any other side in the top half and today they face an Aldershot side who, following no win in their first 4 games, are going through a bit of a resurgence.

The visitors have found the net in 6 of their 8 games this season in the league but have scored in each of their last 5 and have scored 10 goals in their last 4 games. Richard Brodie has now scored 4 in his last 4 and Charlie Walker’s brace last weekend guided Aldershot to a 3-2 win over Halifax, moving The Shots up to 12th in the league.

When you consider that the visitors have found the net in their last 3 visits to Blundell Park, in both meetings against Grimsby last season and also in 7 of their previous 8 meetings, you just have to back Aldershot to find the net again today at a frankly ridiculous price.

Rangers vs Livingston

Time to head north of the border now as I look to Rangers to continue their fantastic run of form to further extend their lead at the top of The Championship.

It’s been a faultless start to their campaign so far which has seen them win 5 from 5 in the league and 9 from 9 in all competitions and throughout this time they have been scoring for fun. Over the course of their 9 games so far, Mark Warburton’s men have scored a whopping 35 goals, an average of 3.9 per game.

In their last 2 league games they have scored 5 goals against 3rd placed Queen of The South and another 5 goals against 6th placed Raith Rovers which makes you wonder what could happen when they meet bottom side Livingston at Ibrox this weekend.

The visitors have collected just 1 point from 5 games in the league this season and have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of those 5 games. They’ve conceded an average of just over 2 goals per game this season so far and shipped 4 goals at home to Greenock Morton in their last outing.

Yes, they had a pretty decent record against Rangers last season but I’m not letting that put me off what in my eyes looks to be a fantastic addition to this treble.

Betting on total team goals

Betting on total team goals is quite a niche market, and one that can be quite profitable. In my opinion bookies are over generous on many occasions when pricing the market up, and I so my utmost to exploit these mistakes.

To take advantage of these pricing mistakes I’d highly advise that you get yourself a Coral betting account as it’s these guys that seem to have trouble pricing the markets accurately. You’ll also net yourself a £20 free bet when you bet your first £5.
