With the FA Cup break over, it’s back to a full schedule of matches across England’s top divisions, and we’ll be hoping to see goals galore in what should be an entertaining final weekend of the month.
The chance to turn £10 into almost £80 is not to be turned up, especially for the sake of six goals. Frankly, it’s got to be worth a punt!
West Bromwich Albion V Huddersfield Town
Both West Brom and Huddersfield have struggled for goals at times this season, but each of the Premier League strugglers will view this game as a great opportunity to pick up three points. Given that neither defence is amazing either, this should lead to chances at both ends.
Alan Pardew could really do with a win given the Baggies’ problems both on and off the pitch. The rock bottom side have scored 14 times in 13 league games at the Hawthorns while they found the net in last week’s cup loss to Southampton. Even with Daniel Sturridge missing, they can fancy their chances against an away side that has conceded an average of over two goals per away game.
Huddersfield did pick up a crucial 4-1 win over Brighton in their last league encounter, though, which was enough to drag them out of the bottom three. Having already beaten the Baggies at home, they’ll have nothing to fear as they make that trip to the Midlands. If Laurent Depoitre and Steve Mounie are given the chances, they will score goals.
It’s unlikely to be a goal glut between the two struggling outfits, but there should be a chance for both to score.

Forest Green Rovers V Crawley Town
A return of seven points from three games has dragged Mark Cooper’s Forest Green away from the League Two drop zone and their hopes of retaining EFL status look brighter than ever. Nonetheless, while they’ll be desperate to keep that form going strong on Saturday, they shouldn’t expect to have things all their own way against Crawley.
Harry Kewell’s men have been brilliant since the turn of the year, picking up seven wins in nine to put themselves in serious contention for the play-offs. Having even scored in the loss to at leaders Luton, they should be extremely confident about their chances of scoring against a team that has shipped 28 home goals.
Forest Green have scored 25 in the right end, though, which is also the number Crawley have shipped on the road. Christian Doidge and co. are more than capable of getting the hosts on the scoreboard. Whether it’ll be enough to secure any points is another question altogether.
The sides shared a 1-1 draw when they met at Brighton Road in November. A similar outcome at the New Lawn would suit us just fine.

Wrexham V Aldershot Town
National League rivals Wrexham and Aldershot have both seen their promotion bids take a turn for the worse over the past week or so, which makes Saturday’s clash at the Racecourse Ground even more important. Whatever happens, we should expect to see goals.
Three of the Welsh side’s last four home games have ended in BTTS winners while the other was a comfortable victory over struggling Torquay. Dean Keates can look to the goals of Chris Holroyd for inspiration in the final third and the hosts should increase their tally of 25 goals on home turf.
Wrexham may have only conceded 12 home goals, but Aldershot do boast 25 from 17 games on their travels. Having dropped just two points from their last five away matches, Scott Rendell and Shamir Fenelon will be eager to help the Shots continue that good form as they aim to drag themselves back into the title race.
Score draws have been a regular feature of Wrexham’s home games over the last few weeks. Do not be surprised if we see yet another on Saturday.
