Both Teams To Score Betting Tips Saturday 1st August – Back Our 4/1 Saturday Selections

August is here, and the football season is very nearly in full swing. It’s another week until the English leagues are back, but a return to football for some of Europe’s other leagues gives us ample opportunity to start the month with a bang.

After netting winning trebles on two of the past three weekends, we’re opting for these six teams to score at odds of just over 4/1. Let’s hope for an entertaining afternoon to get August off to a flyer.

Good luck!

Inverness CT V Motherwell. 3PM

It’s the opening weekend of SPL action and John Hughes’ Caley Thistle will be hoping to follow up a successful 2014/15 by starting the new campaign in style at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

Inverness are already out of Europe, but will be confident about another great domestic campaign. The hosts have lost both of last year’s top scorers but midfielders Richie Foran and Greg Tansey will provide a threat while striker Dani Lopez will be eager to cap his SPL debut with a goal too.

Motherwell didn’t enjoy the best of seasons last term, but the visitors did still score 38 goals in 38 games. Moreover, the past two head-to-head meetings ended in BTTS and Ian Baraclough’s men will be confident in this opener.

The opening day excitement will hopefully lead to plenty of chances at both ends. Let’s hope the strikers can convert those chances.

Red Bull Salzburg V Rapid Vienna. 3PM

Last weekend, Red Bull Salzburg suffered a shock opening day defeat to Mattersburg. Peter Zielder’s men will be eager to bounce back in style this weekend, but the champions should expect a tough test against a very capable Rapid Vienna.

The hosts did find a return to winning ways with Wednesday’s Champions League qualifying win over Malmo and the likes of Jonathan Soriano and Marco Djuricin will be optimistic at the Red Bull Arena. Salzburg did net 99 goals in just 36 league games last term and it’s hard to see them firing a blank here.

Nonetheless, last year’s runners-up will be confident after starting their season with a classy win last weekend. The visitors also registered 68 goals last term, and claimed a victory in their most recent visit to this stadium.

In fact, the past 10 meetings have ended in BTTS winners. There’s no reason to think that run will end.

Teplice V Slovacko. 4PM

Last weekend, Slovacko opened up their Czech Liga season with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Dukla Prague and we’re backing Svatopluk Habanec’s men to be involved in a similarly entertaining contest as they head to Na Stinadlech.

The visitors scored 43 and conceded 46 in 2014/15, so last week’s result was far from a one-off. Veteran striker Libor Dosek started the campaign with a hat-trick and will be hoping to continue that fine start. However, they do need to be careful at the back.

Teplice were involved in a 2-2 draw on the opening day, which is equally promising for this bet selection. They scored 41 and conceded 37 last term. Moreover, March’s most recent meeting between the sides ended in a 2-2 draw and we wouldn’t bet against another score draw here.

The Czech Liga is a hotbed of goals, especially when these two sides are involved. Back goals at Na Stindalech.
