Both Teams To Score Monday 6th April – Net To Ripple At Valley Parade

Having kicked off the Easter break with a fantastic 5/1 BTTS winner, we’re hoping to end the long weekend in equally fitting style with this 11/2 treble.

Each of these six teams will be eager to secure the points during this crucial stage of the season and we’re hoping that will precipitate into goals in our three selected matches.

Work on Tuesday will seem much easier with an extra £55 in our pockets, courtesy of Betfred. Fingers crossed for another boom!

Bradford City V Preston North End

Simon Grayson’s Preston have enjoyed an absolutely phenomenal run of form in recent weeks, propelling the Lilywhites into pole position for automatic promotion. Whilst North End will fancy their chances of picking up another three points, they should be prepared for a difficult test at Valley Parade.

Preston might be unbeaten in 12, but each of their past two away matches ended in score draws. Registering another might not be too unlikely against the Bantams, who still hold genuine aspirations of breaking into the play-offs.

Phil Parkinson’s men boast 25 goals from 20 home games but the Bantams will be concerned by conceding 24, especially with the likes of Joe Garner and Jermaine Beckford looking to fire the visitors to promotion.

Bradford claimed a 2-1 victory at Deepdale and we think they’ll score again here. However, it seems almost inevitable that the in-form away side will join them of the scoresheet.

Oxford United V York City

League Two rivals Oxford and York have each enjoyed back-to-back wins over the last 10 days and both should now avoid relegation from the Football League. However, each club will be eager to keep their good form running with another positive result at the Kassam.

The U’s have hit 24 goals at home this term, but have also shipped 23 from their 20 home games. With both of their past two victories coming via BTTS winners, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Michael Appleton’s men see goals at either end.

If Oxford’s home form is pleasing then York’s away form will certainly increase the confidence in this selection. The Minstermen have played 20 times on the road this term, scoring 29 and conceding 28. This should be a recipe for goals on Easter Monday.

Both teams are in good spirits following their recent wins. Expect plenty of action.

Chester V Forest Green Rovers

Goals have been a regular theme for Vanarama Conference rivals Chester and Forest Green this season, with the two sides posting a cumulative 123 league goals this season. There’s no reason to think the goals will dry up at the Swansway on Easter Monday.

As well as scoring goals for fun at the right end, the two teams have leaked a combined total of 118 from their 84 matches. Moreover, a 2-1 result at the New Lawn back in August would suggest that we could be in for another action-packed thriller.

Five of Chester’s last six matches have ended in BTTS winners – a stat that also rings true for the visitors – and the lack of pressure should allow the likes of Sean McConville and John Rooney to thrive.

However, Forest Green will be desperate for the victory as they break the top five. We’re backing both teams to score.
