Three games. Six teams to score. And hopefully a return of £55 from a £10 stake. That’s our plan for Saturday afternoon; let’s hope these selections make it happen.
Our chosen games come from the Championship, League Two, and Conference National, and we’re confident that they can do the business. A 9/2 winner would be a great way to end October on a high. Here are our selections.
Brighton & Hove Albion v Norwich City
As far as the FL72 is concerned, the game of the day undoubtedly comes from the Amex as second-placed Brighton host fourth-placed Norwich. If it lives up to the billing, it could be a cracker.
Goals have been flowing when the Canaries are on the road. Seven away league games have brought 14 goals for Alex Neil’s men while they’ve also shipped 13. Meanwhile, a 2-2 midweek cup clash at Leeds, which ended in a penalty defeat, only adds further reason to expect goals.
Brighton have been regular scorers too, with Chris Hughton’s men scoring 12 in seven so far. Given the potential tired legs of Norwich, the hosts will expect to find the net once more. The fact they’ve only shipped four may be an issue, but the visiting Canaries have enough quality to score also.
With the likes of Glenn Murray, Sam Baldock, Cameron Jerome, and Steven Naismith playing, this game won’t be short of attacking quality. Let’s hope that transpires to an action-fuelled battle.

Barnet v Hartlepool United
In League Two, Craig Hignett’s Hartlepool have provided bags of entertainment throughout the opening third of the campaign. This has been particularly true on their travels, and we’re anticipating another game of goals as the Pool head to Barnet on Saturday.
The visitors have played seven league matches on the road, scoring 14 and conceding 15. Padraig Almond and co. will cause problems for Barnet at the Hive. However, a defence that has shipped six in its last two could be in for an uphill ride as the visitors aim for a clean sheet.
Barnet aren’t the most frequent scorers with seven in seven home games. However, they do boast the division’s top scorer in John Akinde. They should score but, like Hartlepool, they look a little less confident in the defensive third.
Given that both of last season’s head-to-head meetings ended in BTTS winners also, we’re backing another game of goals here.

Boreham Wood v Woking
Goals have been a fairly infrequent occurrence at Meadow Park this term, with Boreham Wood’s eight home games bringing a total of just 11 goals. However, that could all change on Saturday as Woking are the visitors.
Garry Hill’s men have played 19 competitive matches this season, with 17 ending in BTTS winners. A frontline including Matt Tubbs will always carry a danger, but the Cardinals simply cannot stop conceding, which makes them the perfect inclusion on any Goals Galore coupon.
Boreham Wood have enjoyed some decent form at home, winning three of their last five competitive games here. With striker Morgan Ferrier up to seven league goals for the campaign too, they’ll be expected to punish the weak Woking defence.
There’s a good chance that the hosts will hit two or three, but we’d expect the visitors to grab a consolation. Back both teams to score.
