Both Teams To Score Tips Wednesday 15th July – Turn £10 Into £129 With Out Champions League Treble

Wednesday’s BTTS treble is another Champions League selection as the second round of qualifying continues.

These first leg matches are incredibly important as these sides aim to take on step closer to the hallowed group phase. There should be plenty of drama, and we’re hoping that will also bring goals.

Karabakh Agdam V Rudar Pljevlja. 5:30PM

Our first selection comes from the Tofiq Bəhramov adına Respublika stadionu as Karabakh take on Rudar Pljevlja in what should be a fascinating contest.

The hosts will be firm favourites, with strikers Leroy George and Reynaldo both aiming to continue their impressive recent scoring records. The Azerbaijanis will certainly fancy their chances of grabbing the win and will be hoping to put this tie beyond doubt by scoring a few goals here.

However, the Montenegrin visitors do score a lot of goals also. Mirko Marin’s team do face a difficult task, but an away goal would make things a lot easier in next week’s return leg. Without going gung-ho, we’d expect Rudar to take a relatively attacking approach.

This probably won’t be the highest scoring game of the night, but we do think both teams will score.

Malmo FF V VMFC Zalgiris. 6PM

Swedish side Malmo haven’t been overly impressive in this season’s Allsvenskan division, but will be desperate to start their Champions League campaign in style.

All expectations will be on Age Hareide’s men to win this first leg and the Norwegian boss will be looking to compatriots Jo Inge Bernet and Magnus Eikrem to fire his side towards the next phase. On home soil, it would be a surprise if they don’t find the target.

However, Zalgiris aren’t a bad side and can cause problems at the Swedbank. This might be a step up in quality for the Lithuanians, but you can’t argue with 50 goals in 18 domestic games. If they can bring that confidence to this Champions League encounter then they’ll have every chance of scoring.

It’s a game that Malmo should win, but we’re still backing both teams to score.

BATE Borisov V Dundalk. 6:30PM

Stephen Kenny’s men head to Belarus knowing that the odds are stacked against them. However, the Irish club are in great scoring form and will be hopeful of at least grabbing that important away goal.

The visitors will be looking to punish a home defence that conceded three times on Friday, and the likes of David McMillan and Richard Towell can cause problems for at the Borisov Arena. The bigger issue, for Dundalk, is trying to keep BATE at bay.

BATE are a fantastic attacking side and don’t fire blanks very often. Aleksandr Yermakovich’s squad boast a number of talented stars capable of punishing Dundalk while they also have the extra motivation of making up for last year’s embarrassing Champions League group phase.

The hosts will almost certainly score. Odds of 6/5 on an away goal? It’s got to be worth a punt.
