BTTS Football Betting Tips – Back These Three Games On Saturday 15th October

The domestic schedule is back to a full program after the international break, so punters up and down the country will be hoping to capitalise with big winners on Saturday afternoon. And that’s exactly what we’re aiming to do with our treble on the BTTS coupon.

New customers at 888sport can take advantage of an incredible sign up bonus to boost their potential winnings to over £150. Even if you’re not eligible for this offer, though, the treble pays out at just under 5/1.

Either way, I’m sure you’ll agree that it would be more than acceptable. Good luck.

Stoke City v Sunderland

Premier League strugglers Stoke and Sunderland are equally desperate for points at the  Stadium on Saturday, which should make for an action-packed encounter. And it’s one in which both teams will fancy their chances of goals.

After all, both defences are terrible. The visitors have already leaked 13 in just seven matches under David Moyes while the hosts have conceded 16 under Mark Hughes. Both managers have had to contend with defensive injuries too. On current form, it would be hard to back either side for a clean sheet in any match.

Neither team is scoring that many goals, but there will be more than enough attacking quality to capitalise on the respective poor defensive units. Jermain Defoe has four goals for the Black Cats already whilst Wilfried Bony, Marko Arnautovic, and Mame Biram Diouf are all capable of scoring for the visitors.

Stoke’s last four competitive matches have ended in BTTS winners, as have Sunderland’s last three. It might not be the most exciting Premier League game of the weekend, but we do fancy both teams to score.

Wigan Athletic v Burton Albion

After positive starts to life in the Championship, respective newcomers Wigan and Burton Albion have encountered serious dips in form. However, they’ll each be heading into this clash at the DW Stadium full of confidence, which will hopefully result in a game of goals.

Despite their difficulties, both clubs picked up four points from a possible six before the international break, so confidence shouldn’t be an issue. For Wigan boss Gary Caldwell, the emphasis will be on trying to create chances for Will Grigg, who already boasts five league goals for the season. Given that Burton have shipped 11 in five away games, the hosts should at least score.

Nigel Clough’s Brewers have scored eight on the road, however, and will be optimistic of sealing some crucial points here. Wigan’s defence has been pretty tight at home, but Luke Adkins and co. are more than capable of finding the target.

Burton’s five away games have all ended in BTTS winners. We have no reason to see that changing at Wigan.

Wimbledon v Swindon Town

This has already been a memorable month for AFC Wimbledon, who have climbed above MK Dons for the first time in their history, and Neal Ardley’s men will be eager to keep their fantastic run of form going this weekend. However, they shouldn’t expect to have things all their own way against the Robins.

The Dons can be confident of goals, particularly as they’ve found the target in 10 consecutive competitive matches. With the firepower of Lyle Taylor and Dominic Poleon to spur them on, they should have no problems against an away side that’s shipped nine in just six away games.

Wimbledon have conceded nine goals at Kingston Road this term, though, and Luke Williams’s side will look to punish those defensive weaknesses. While results have often eluded them, the visitors have registered seven goals on their travels and will be eager to increase that tally here.

We think they probably will, but it might not be enough to secure the points. We’ll be backing goals at both ends.
