After hitting a winning double (due to one postponement) on Tuesday night, we’re back to business on Saturday with another BTTS treble with hopes of doubling our delight at odds of just over 4/1.
We’re backing six Football League teams to all find the target, and have high hopes that they will do the business to put yet more profit pockets.
Good luck!
Huddersfield Town V Fulham
Championship side Fulham have been a favourite on the BTTS coupon throughout the campaign and the goals keep flowing at both ends regardless of who is in charge. As Slavia Jokanovic prepares to take his men to a third away game in eight days, the Cottagers should be prepared for yet another dramatic fixture.
The two previous outings ended in scoring defeats, so the visitors will want to tighten things up at the back. Sadly, they’ve been trying to do so for three years without any success. They’ve already leaked 24 away goals this term and their backline could be in for another difficult afternoon against a home side that boasts 21 in 13 at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Fulham do still have the attacking talents of Moussa Dembele and Ross McCormack to potentially rescue them. The deadly duo will be expected to find the target once more, especially against a Huddersfield side that has registered just three home shutouts all season.
The sides shared a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage earlier this season. Another score draw wouldn’t surprise us at all.

Shrewsbury Town V Barnsley
In League One, Lee Johnson’s Tykes have been unpredictable in terms of results on the road. However, after four consecutive BTTS winners away from Oakwell, it’s safe to say goals have been a regular occurrence at both ends. There’s no reason to think that this trend will end as they make the trip to Shrewsbury.
Barnsley have won just three away games this term, but do boast 17 goals from their 11 matches. Sadly, a defence that has shipped 25 has largely undone any good work in the attacking third, and this could be the story of Saturday afternoon too.
Micky Mellon’s Shrews will take confidence from the 2-1 reverse win back in September, and the hosts will be eager to increase their tally of 15 home goals. Like Barnsley, though, the struggling home side’s poor defence has been the Achilles heel.
This is a game that both teams will view as winnable. Let’s hope this leads to an end-to-end affair with plenty of goals.

York City V Newport County
York City: last alphabetically and also the Football League’s bottom club heading into this weekend’s action. Despite their current predicament, though, Jackie McNamara’s men can be optimistic as they welcome an equally poor Newport to Bootham Crescent.
The Minstermen might be struggling for results, but they have found the target in every home game this term. An attacking unit led by Vadaine Oliver should fancy its chances against an away side that has leaked 18 in 12 matches on the road. However, York might need more than one goal to win this one. After all, they’ve not kept a clean sheet in 15 competitive outings.
Those defensive deficiencies will lend confidence to the visiting Exiles. The visitors aren’t overly prolific, and will have to contend with losing manager John Sheridan to Oldham, but they will see this as a genuine chance to pick up valuable points. At the very least, they should score for an eight away game in nine.
York claimed a 3-0 win in the reverse clash, but it could be a lot tighter here. Nevertheless, it’s hard to see either defence keeping a shutout. Back both teams to score.
