Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 5th December – Goals To Flow At City Ground

Last Saturday’s abysmal effort prevented us from making it a hat-trick of victories, but we’re hopeful of bouncing back this weekend to make it three winning trebles from four.

Our attentions are turned to a combination of league and cup matches for this weekend’s selections, and hopefully these six teams will all find the target. At odds of just under 4/1 with SkyBet, it has to be worth a punt.

Good luck.

Nottingham Forest V Fulham

Championship side Fulham may be dealing with a few changes in the dugout, but on the pitch it’s been a case of goals, goals, goals at both ends of the pitch. In truth, it’s hard to see the drama dying down as they make the trip to Nottingham Forest.

The Cottagers enter this fixture on the back of seven straight BTTS winners while their overall away record after nine matches reads 15 goals for and 14 against. Their defensive problems have been running for at least two or three seasons now. However, the firepower of Moussa Dembele and Ross McCormack should give them a great chance of goals.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest’s last two matches have produced BTTS winners too. Their overall home record hasn’t seen bags of drama but 19 goals split 10-9 in their favour suggests there is reason to fancy action at both ends here.

Last season’s fixture ended 5-3 to the Reds. Even a portion of that entertainment would suit us just fine.

Woking V Lincoln City

It’s been a topsy-turvy season for Woking both on and off the pitch, but the Conference side have provided plenty of action at the Kingfield Stadium this term and that should continue against another BTTS favourite.

The Cards have scored 23 but conceded 16 after 12 league matches on home soil and the goals of John Goddard and Dan Holman should give them confidence. From a betting perspective, the fact their last five matches have ended with goals at both ends.

Lincoln, meanwhile, are going well and currently sit in the play-off zone. On the road, they’ve hit 18 goals whilst leaking 15 at the wrong end. Chris Moyses will be looking to in-form striker Matt Rhead for inspiration in Surrey, and there’s no reason to think the Imps won’t find the target.

Nevertheless, the visitors may need more than one goal to seal all three points. Back both teams to score.

Yeovil Town V Stevenage

In addition to league action, there’s also the little matter of FA Cup round two. One of the more interesting ties comes from Huish Park as Teddy Sheringham’s improving Stevenage look to book their place in round three with a win over struggling Yeovil.

The visitors have endured a difficult start to the season, but they make the trip to Somerset on the back of two straight wins. However, they couldn’t keep a shutout in either of those matches, which is our first indication that this will be a game of goals.

Meanwhile, the teams shared a 2-2 draw here in the league just three weeks ago. Furthermore, the departure of Paul Sturrock could work as an extra incentive for the hosts as they look to build confidence ahead of a crucial league schedule.

When added to the magic of the cup, we have to fancy goals. We’re not sure what way it will go, but both teams are more than capable of finding the target, and that’s exactly what we’re backing to happen.
