Both Teams To Score Tips Thursday 25th February – Back Our Europa League Treble

Thursday’s Europa League action brings 15 mouth-watering second leg matches as teams look to reach the last 16. With the winner of this competition landing qualification to next season’s Champions League, everyone will be eager to progress. And we’re looking to capitalise on the drama with this treble.

We’re backing six teams to find the target. And if the odds 6/1 aren’t tempting enough, new customers at 888sport can grab a treble the odds too!

Good luck.

FK Krasnodar V Sparta Prague. 6PM

Our first selection comes from the Stadion Kuban as Russian side Krasnodar look to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Sparta Prague. The hosts should have a far better chance of scoring on home soil, but they shouldn’t expect to have things all their own way against the Czechs.

Oleg Kononov’s men have found the target in 10 consecutive home games. With Fyodor Smolov and Ari Da Silva in attack, they can be confident about winning this second leg. However, the Russian’s know that conceding will put them in a terrible position.

The Czechs have scored in all nine Europa League matches this season while Kehinde Fatai and David Lafata should offer plenty of firepower in the attacking third. Zdenk Scasny’s know that an away goal will put them in the driving seat, and that has to be their main aim.

We think Sparta will sneak through, but Krasnodar should find the target too. Back both teams to score.

FC Basel V Saint Etienne. 8:05PM

Last week’s reverse clash was a BTTS winner before the interval, and we think that Basel and Saint Etienne will trade goals a they meet again at St Jakob Park.

A 3-2 win in France gives Christophe Galtier’s every hope of sealing their place in the last 16, but they will probably need to score due to the away goals rule. The firepower of Nolan Roux and co should cause problems for the Swiss hosts, the main issue is whether Saint Etienne can limit the home side’s chances.

Urs Fischer’s men boast a great scoring record at home and also have plenty of experience in both the Europa and Champions League. Whilst they are an outsider, Basel will be quietly confident about enjoying a decent run in this competition, starting with a second leg turnaround here.

Attack will be the primary motive for both teams in Switzerland. Let’s hope it brings goals at both ends.

Napoli V Villarreal. 8:05PM

Marcelino’s Yellows will be more than satisfied with their first leg result in Spain last week as they claimed an advantage and stopped Napoli from scoring. However, a slender one-goal lead means that the Liga side will need to score at the Stadio San Paolo.

If the visitors can get the ball to Roberto Soldado and Cedric Bakambu, then there’s no reason to doubt their chances of scoring. The fact they’ve had an extra day’s rest may help too as they look to take advantage of tired legs, and an away goal will put them firmly in the driving seat.

Maurizio Sarri’s men haven’t been in the best form lately, but the trio of Gonzalo Higuain, Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne should fancy their chances of a goal on Italian soil. Meanwhile, the current state of the tie means that they have to attack from the outset too.

It’s unlikely to be a seven goal thriller, but both teams are capable of scoring. And that’s exactly where we’re putting our money.
