Football Acca Tip Saturday 19th March – Take this tasty 22/1 5-fold

A pretty busy day on the football front this Saturday with just over 50 fixtures in the top 5 flights of English football. I’ve been having a look over them to try and find a tasty match odds acca that can bag us some cash.

Stevenage v NORTHAMPTON

Stevenage’s poor run of form continues in League Two and the price for the runaway league leaders to pile yet more misery on them just has to be taken in my eyes. The hosts have not only lost 4 straight games in the league, they haven’t scored a single goal in any of those.

Northampton on the other have won 9 of their last 10 away games and now sit 9 points clear at the top of the league. Northampton won the previous meeting this season 2-1 and I would expect them to complete the double

WALSALL v Colchester

You have to admire the fact that Colchester drew 3-3 with Wigan in their last outing, a side who sit level on points with their opponents this week, Walsall. But Colchester’s away form is the major reason they sit bottom of League One and it reads W3 D2 L13 F19 A51.

They’ve collected only 11 points from a possible 54 on their travels this season and though Walsall’s home form hasn’t been convincing as of late, they seem to have found their winning ways again now with back-to-back victories over Chesterfield and Fleetwood in recent weeks. Walsall look like a banker to me and they’re being slotted into my 5-fold

BURNLEY v wolves

Who could really back against Burnley given the form they’re in right now? 6 consecutive wins in the league have propelled them to the top of the pile with a 6 point advantage and they could well extend that on Saturday afternoon as they host Wolves at Turf Moor.

The visitors haven’t had a bad season really, but 3 losses in a row away from home against Huddersfield, Brentford and Middlesbrough should become 4 as they visit the league leaders.

Crystal Palace vs LEICESTER

I have to include the surprise package of the Premier League to continue their hunt for the title this weekend as they take a trip to Selhurst Park. Alan Pardew’s men may have beaten Reading in the FA Cup to move into the semi-finals last week, but in the league it’s now 12 games without a win, losing 9 of those and 8 points above the relegation zone by no means guarantees their safety.

Leicester have been gritty and determined in back-to-back 1-0 wins over Watford and Newcastle and given that was the same scoreline that they had to take 3 points against Palace earlier this season, it wouldn’t surprise me if they made it 3 in a row and take all 3 points back to The Midlands.

LINCOLN vs Kidderminster

Lincoln’s hunt for a playoff spot isn’t quite over yet as although they sit 10th in the league, only 6 points separate them and 4th in the league Dover Athletic. The Imps, who have won 4 straight in the league on home soil, host Kidderminster at Sincil Bank this weekend and in my eyes it’s an easy 3 points to take.

Harriers are rock bottom of the league and 12 points adrift of safety. In 19 away games this season they have won just once and with 6 losses in their last 7 away, they look very unlikely to make a miracle escape.
