Goals Galore Tips Saturday 20th April – Net Should Ripple At Goodison

Visit BetfredIt’s do or die time in the Premier League season with just 5 games to go until the 2012/13 campaign slams shut. With plenty of teams still fighting at both ends of the table it’s important to use these sides to our advantage when compiling a top quality both teams to score treble!

At this stage of the season you need to avoid the teams who are within the safety of mid-table mediocrity who have little to play for. Therefore my first selection is:

Everton vs Sunderland

A few weeks ago this would have been an absolute stone bonker home win and a woefully one-sided affair.

Step forward Paolo Di Canio and the Black Cats are purring again after a narrow defeat to Chelsea before their 3-0 mauling away at Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby! Couple Sunderland’s resurgence with Everton’s uncanny BTTS ability and I make this a peach of a selection to get us under way.

Charlton vs Wolves

Here we have an interesting match-up between two sides who wouldn’t have expected to be in their respective positions come this stage of the season.

Recently promoted Charlton were tipped by many to struggle in this year’s Championship whilst relegated Wolves would have been eager to bounce straight back to the Premier League.

As it stands though, Charlton could yet make the play-offs whilst Wolves are in a relegation dog-fight to avoid successive drops down the football pyramid. Both teams average over a goal a game in terms of scoring and conceding and they’re unlikely to buck the trend here!

Doncaster vs Notts County

League One leaders Doncaster have the title in their hands but they haven’t won it by keeping it tight at the back, having leaked almost as many goals as today’s 12th placed visitors, Notts County.

The Nottingham-based side have both scored and conceded in each of their last 4 games and I’m backing them to make it 5 in a row in the penultimate round of matches in the League One season.

The above treble pays 4/1 with Betfred, the home of Goals Galore!
