Ian’s Both Teams To Score Tips Saturday 8th Feb – Wolfs On The Prowl For Goals

It’s that time again to put my final thoughts to paper and explain my both teams to score treble for the weekend. I began my research on Tuesday morning this week and hopefully the hard stat crunching will pay off this week.

I’ve had quite a job narrowing it down to my best 3, but here they are, plus a little side note if you fancy making a bigger accumulator.

Wolfsburg v Mainz

German Bundesliga 2.30pm Saturday
Both teams to score odds – 8/13 – BetVictor

This is my most confident pick for Saturday so it’s only right I mention it first. Wolfsburg and Mainz sit 6th and 7th respectively in the Bundesliga and looking at the season statistics this looks a major banker for both teams to score.

Mainz have scored and conceded in each and every away league game they’ve played this season which really shows that no game to them is worth taking a defensive approach to.

Home side Wolfsburg have failed to score in just 2 home games in the last 14 months. Add that to the fact that 18 goals have been scored in Wolfsburg’s last 5 games (both teams have scored in all of these) and this really does look a game full of goals.

The reverse fixture played all the way back in August last year resulted in a 2-0 win for Mainz, but that was a desperate time for Wolfsburg. The goals are really flowing now.

NAC Breda v Roda JC

Dutch Eredivisie 6.45pm Saturday
Both teams to score odds –1/2 – BetVictor

Another great looking game here for goals, with Roda JC being the deciding factor.

There’s nothing like recent form in terms of forming an opinion, and Roda JC have got plenty of that when it comes to both teams to score. They’ve scored and conceded in 7 consecutive away league games leading up to this match and have scored an amazing away goals this season from their 10 matches; a huge average of 2 goals per game. Not bad at all for a team fighting relegation.

NAC Breda are only 2 points ahead of their opponents despite being 6 places higher in the league table and there;s all to play for in this game. Breda have collected 16 points from their last 7 home games and have failed to score just once at home all season.

The last two clashes between these teams has seen 14 goals scored, most recently a 5-1 win for NAC Breda last September. The previous meeting finished 5-3 to Breda. This one has got goals written all over it.

Welling United v Gateshead

Conference Premier 3.00pm Saturday
Both teams to score odds –13/20 – BetVictor

Non league English action here, but every inch a bet for BTTS.

Welling United are slowly recovering from a disastrous spell which saw them tumble down the table, but they are on the mend after beating Chester and Woking recently. Despite their topsy turvy season, Welling have failed to score at home on just 1 occasion (a shocking 2-0 loss to dire Hyde, which is best forgotten).

Gateshead occupy 4th position in the league and are well amongst the promotion contenders. They’re undefeated in 10 games in all competitions and things are going well. Gateshead have failed to score in just 2 away games this season, and are on a run of 4 consecutive away BTTS games with 18 goals being scored.

The teams played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture this season and I have every confidence that we’ll see even more goals in this meeting.

A couple of others worth considering if you’re going to take advantage of the BetVictor 5-fold money back offer:

  • Stuttgart v Augsburg (Sunday)
  • Notts County v Coventry
  • Mansfield v Southend
A £10 stake on the featured treble pays just under £40 at BetVictor
