It’s a crucial time in the football calendar and we’re hoping to see goals, goals, goals from this weekend’s action with three selections on the BTTS coupon.
With a chance of turning £10 into £68 for the sake of six teams to find the net, that’s gotta be worth a punt!
Everton V Crystal Palace
Sam Allardyce will demand a big response from his Everton side following last week’s embarrassment at the Emirates, especially as he takes on the team he saved from relegation last term. While the hosts are likely to score, they shouldn’t expect to have everything their own way.
After all, the visiting Eagles have produced a number of entertaining matches in recent weeks. In fact, five of their last six competitive matches have ended in BTTS winners despite a clear lack of attacking options at Roy Hodgson’s disposal. While the visitors have largely struggled for goals on the road, they can capitalise on a shaky home backline.
Everton do boast plenty of firepower, though. Wayne Rooney, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Oumar Niasse have all scored goals this term while Theo Walcott’s arrival has given them another option too. Given that Palace have shipped 20 on the road, the Toffees should be capable of scoring.
The sides shared a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in December, a similar result would suit us just fine.

Bolton Wanderers V Fulham
While results have still been inconsistent, Bolton have done remarkably well to drag themselves out of the Championship relegation zone and will be eager to clinch another important result against play-off hopefuls Fulham. Whatever happens, it should be a game of goals.
The Trotters have scored 18 times at the Macron, but have also conceded 20 in those 15 games. Even after the sale of Gary Madine, the hosts can fancy their chances of goals against an away team that has leaked 22 on its travels.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s Cottagers are in good form, though, especially in front of goal. Aboubakar Kamara and co. have scored 12 on their last four goals alone while their away record reads 26 in 15 matches. Given that this is the perfect opportunity to give their bid for promotion a serious boost, a goal should be on the cards.
Both teams have produced some entertaining games in recent weeks. Let’s hope that trend continues here.

Southend United V Wigan Athletic
The appointment of Chris Powell has inspired the perfect response from League One outfit Southend United, and the new boss will be eager to extend his perfect run on Saturday. However, this will be their hardest test to date as they welcome table topping Wigan to Roots Hall.
Goals have been a fairly common theme for the hosts all season, with 15 games producing 22 goals for and 16 against. When combined with Wigan’s return 32 scored in 13 on the road, it looks likely that this one will produce bags of entertainment.
Will Grigg and co. will be eager to keep the visiting Latics at the summit, and should be confident after winning each of their last six away matches in the league. Still, renewed belief and the quality of Simon Cox and Jason Demetriou should give the hosts a good chance too.
It’s hard to see Wigan coming away without at least a share of the spoils. Nonetheless, Southend are capable of finding the net too.
