What Games Should You Back On This Weekend’s BTTS Coupon?

Looking for a BTTS treble on Saturday 19th November? Well, look no further than this 7/2 shot from the afternoon’s domestic fixtures.

We’ve picked games from the Premiership, League One, and National League. Six teams, and hopefully six goals (or more). Good luck!

Watford v Leicester City

The Premier League champions have endured a terrible start to the season away from the King Power, and are still searching for their first away win of the campaign. However, Claudio Ranieri’s men can be quietly confident as they make the trip to Vicarage Road.

Leicester have at least found the target in four of their five away games while they’ve shown their capabilities to perform with two fantastic away performances in the Champions League. Meanwhile, the attacking qualities of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy, and Islam Silmani ensure that Watford could be in for a tough afternoon.

The Hornets are performing quite well, sitting eighth in the table and boasting eight goals in five at home. Troy Deeney and Etienne Capoue have been the main sources of goals, but Walter Mazzarri’s side are capable of scoring elsewhere.

They did concede six at Anfield, though, as well as eight in their five home games. With this in mind, we’re backing both teams to score.

Bristol Rovers v MK Dons

Bristol Rovers are enjoying a great first season back in the third tier, and could yet fight for a third straight promotion. However, they shouldn’t expect everything their own way against an MK Dons side that is desperate for points in its bid for survival.

The Gas have scored 13 times in just eight home games while they also notched four in Tuesday’s FA Cup replay, albeit after extra time. Darrell Clarke’s men also boast one of the division’s most lethal strikers in Matty Taylor, and should not struggle for goals against an away team that’s conceded in each of its last six League One matches.

Interim manager Richie Barker will be hoping to stamp his authority on things, but he doesn’t need to change too much in an attacking sense. The Dons have scored 13 times on the road, winning four of those eight matches. Given that Rovers have shipped 11 at home and played 120 minutes in midweek, the visitors are more than capable of scoring.

There should be goals at the Memorial Ground. Let’s just hope the teams live up to the billing.

Maidstone United v Woking

In the National League, Garry Hill’s Cardinals have been a regular source of BTTS winners as all but two of their 19 games have ended with goals for both sides. The struggling visitors will be more focused on points as they head to the Gallagher Stadium, but we think goals are probably the safer bet once more.

It’s 10 goals for and 23 against on the road so far. When combined with Maidstone’s home record of 11 scored and 18 conceded, it all points to another exciting battle. The fact both teams are in need of a win only adds further reason to expect an intense contest.

Maidstone have done well since gaining promotion, and should not be short of confidence against a team that sits below them in the table. Nevertheless, the fact they’ve not kept a clean sheet in over two months means that they’ll probably need at least two goals to win.

As far as the outcome is concerned, we’re about as interested as we are in the X Factor results. As long as Woking keep up their BTTS record, we’ll be happy.
