BTTS Tips Saturday 3rd October – Villa Park Promises Goals

It’s the first weekend of a new month and we’re looking to celebrate in style with this 9/2 treble at 888sport the BTTS market.

These six teams will all be eager to find the target on Saturday afternoon, and we’re hopeful of making amends for last year’s disappointing selections. With a bit of luck, we should be celebrating come 10 to five.

Good luck!

Aston Villa V Stoke City

Mark Hughes’ Potters finally clinched their first win of the season with last weekend’s 2-1 triumph over Bournemouth and will be eager to follow that up with a second as they make the short trip to Villa Park.

The visitors certainly have reason to be confident in the final third. They’ve got the likes of Bojan, Mame Biram Diouf, and Jonathan Walters to give them inspiration while they’ll also fancy their chances against a defence that hasn’t kept a clean sheet since the opening day.

888sport are giving treble the odds on your first bet with them. That means if you were to put £10 on our BTTS bet you would be paid over £130 cash! Don’t miss out on a great offer. Get your 888sport account up and running today

On the other hand, Stoke’s defence hasn’t looked too strong either and they’ve yet to keep a single shut out in the Premier League this season. Meanwhile, Tim Sherwood’s hosts have netted six in their past four games alone.

When you also take the proximity of these two clubs and their respective need for a win into account, it should be a fascinating contest. While we wouldn’t want to predict a winner, we are backing both teams to score.

Colchester United V Bury

An incredible run of four straight victories has seen Tony Humes guide Colchester United up to eight in the League One table, and the Eagles will be hoping to continue their good form as they welcome Bury to Essex.

However, the high-flying Shakers will be equally confident after hitting 11 goals in their five away games this term. David Flitcroft’s men are unbeaten on the road, and will be looking to in-form striker Leon Clarke and Tom Pope for further inspiration. Quite frankly, it’s hard to see the visitors firing a blank against a home side that has conceded 17 times this season.

Colchester’s attacking prowess shouldn’t be dismissed, though, and the recent addition of Marvin Sordell has certainly added another string to their bow. If their eight home goals wasn’t enough to inspire confidence, the fact Bury have shipped seven on the road surely will.

Three of Bury’s last four matches have ended in BTTS winners, as have five of Colchester’s last six. We’re backing that theme of goals to continue.

Tranmere Rovers V Bromley

It’s been an incredible start to life in the Conference for Mark Goldberg’s Bromley, and a run of six wins has propelled the Ravens up to fourth after 13 matches. However, they should expect a truly tough battle as they make the trip to Prenton Park.

Goals have been a common theme for Bromley this season, with star man Moses Ademola scoring 11 goals alone. The visitors have scored 14 in just six matches on the road and should be confident about finding the target here.

Nevertheless, Gary Brabin’s men will be equally optimistic as they look to fire their way into the play-off zone. They’ve scored nine goals in six home matches this term and should have no problem against an away side that’s already leaked 15 on the road.

Both teams are in good form and will be confident of scoring. We’re backing both of them to do just that.
