Over 2.5 Match Goals Tips Wednesday 4th November – Back Plenty Of Champions League Drama

Game week four is always important in any Champions League campaign, and Wednesday’s action should provide another night of intense drama and plenty of goals.

We’ve pinpointed three games to each have at least three goals. It doesn’t matter where they come from as long as they do. With enhanced odds of 15/1 at 888sport, that’s got to be worth a midweek shout.

Chelsea V Dynamo Kiev

Life hasn’t been easy for Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea in recent weeks, and it’s clear to see that their troubles are more than just a blip. However, the Blues can at least put themselves on the verge of last 16 qualification by beating Dynamo Kiev. And we think that’s exactly what they will do.

The Ukrainian visitors frustrated the Premier League champions superbly two weeks ago, and Sergey Rebrov’s men will be quietly optimistic about compounding Chelsea’s misery. If they do find the target, there’s every chance that there will be over 2.5 goals here.

Mourinho will expect a big response after the weekend loss to Liverpool. Meanwhile, the fringe players have never had a better chance to break into the first XI, and could take this opportunity by getting their names on the scoresheet.

If Chelsea perform as they can, they could easily score three or four. Meanwhile, their defensive weaknesses certainly adds to the probability of goals.

Olympiakos V Dinamo Zagreb

Marco Silva’s Olympiacos are in great shape for reaching the last 16, and could really cement their hopes of a top two finish by beating Dinamo Zagreb at home. And the Greeks should be particularly confident after winning eight of their last nine fixtures.

Bayern Munich aside, the hosts have scored at least twice in each of their home games this season. If they can do that again against the Croats, there’s every chance that this game will have at least three goals.

After all, Dinamo have plenty of attacking talent in the form of Angelo Henriquez, Armin Hodzic and Junior Fernandez. A victory would give them a genuine chance of reaching the knockout phase too, which is why we can expect Zoran Mamic’s to go for goals here.

One way or the other, there should be plenty of action. We’re backing over 2.5 goals at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskaki.

Roma V Bayer Leverkusen

Group E rivals Roma and Bayer Leverkusen were involved in an incredible 8-goal thriller at the BayArena just over a fortnight ago. Even if they don’t score quite as many goals this time around, we would expect to see plenty of drama at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Italian hosts are in particularly desperate need of a win after registering just two points from the first possible nine. Anything but a victory could leave Rudi Garcia’s seriously struggling for a top two finish. However, they should be confident after winning three games on the spin at home. Meanwhile, five of their six home matches have seen at least three goals scored.

However, Bayer are in equally good form. Roger Schmidt’s men certainly have goals amongst their arsenal with the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu and Javieer Hernandez more than capable of scoring. Their last four matches have ended with a minimum of three goals, and there is no reason to think the goals will dry up.

We’d be surprised if either team fires a blank, and expect at least one of them to score twice. If it’s anything like last time, this selection should land with plenty of time to spare.
